About Us

NJ Outdoors is a private organization that is not owned or operated by the state of New Jersey. We are a small group of people who enjoy the great outdoors. Our mission is to promote outdoor activities.

We mainly specialize in fishing and camping, but there are many other activities we do and enjoy. Living in New Jersey we often overlook how much our state has to offer other than good food, bars and party life. I personally prefer fishing at the shore at sunrise than waking up with a hangover. I have learned many things over the years through reading countless information, asking questions and simply trial and error. There are so many great communities and people to meet around here, they are just hard to find. Hopefully, this website can become a source of knowledge for people who want to learn and experience the great outdoors.

We aim to educate people on environmental awareness and preservation. Every year the places we have come to love are getting more polluted with trash and careless behavior. If we can get one more person to carry in and carry out their trash than last year, I feel like I have done my job.
