Got skunked again. I am starting to give up on this place. Four trips in a row and not a bite. No one catching fish anywhere around us either. All the hot fishing reports are coming from boats no one is catching anything from the surf. Another beautiful weather day with fresh clams yet no fish in sight.

Spoke to another fisherman called Steve. He said the bunker are in the bay and he has caught a few stripers already this season. Will try again this weekend I guess.
We fished pier #3 by Skippies tonight. Bunch of people there fishing not much room to fish. We didn’t catch anything but the people next to us caught two shorts. Water was calm, no wind and a few small bites here and there. Clams stunk! Weather was nice and we had a bright full moon with high tide. Should of done better!
